Official 2023 BPOU Convention Call
To: All Delegates and Alternates in the SD41 Republican Party Basic Political Organizational Unit (BPOU)
Pursuant to the Constitution of the Republican Party of Minnesota and to the official call for the Republican Party of Minnesota BPOU Convention issued by SD41 Republicans, the SD41 Republican Party BPOU is hereby called to meet at the following time and location:

Registration will begin at 5:30 PM with the convention commencing promptly at 6:30 PM.
Registration will close at 7:00 PM.
To cover the costs for the convention, advanced registration is $50/person or $75/couple for delegates and alternates. Registration at the door is $55/person for delegates and alternates. Guests over the age of 18 are $20/person. Please note: Credit/Debit cards will not be accepted at the door.

Convention registration fees are eligible to receive a rebate from the State PCR (Political Contribution Refund) program, allowing individuals to receive a $50 dollar rebate on their admission through the program. More information can be found at: Political Contribution Refund
The Senate District 41 Republican Party Convention shall be composed of the Delegates and Alternates elected by the Precinct Caucuses held in 2022. The convention shall be held for the purposes of:
1. Election of State Central Convention Delegates and Alternate,
2. Election of Senate District 41 Executive Committee Officers,
3. Review and approval of proposed changes to the SD41 Republican Constitution,
4. Transaction of other such business that may properly come before the Convention.
The agenda should be completed in three hours or less. Copies of the proposed rules, SD41 constitution, and agenda for the convention will be found below no later than February 20, 2023. Please print your own copies of these documents and bring them with you to the convention.

Anyone interested in running for an SD41 officer position (i.e., chair, deputy chair, secretary, treasurer, house chair, vice chair, etc.) or Minnesota State Central Committee shall contact Blake Kuncl (651/900-1035) by February 20, 2023, in order to schedule a meeting of the nominations committee. Nominations will also be considered from the floor on the day of the convention. Additional Questions about the convention may be directed to SD41GOPMN@gmail.com.
